FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the tire components onto shaping drums superposition monitoring method. Technical result is achieved by the method, which includes the first electromagnetic radiation (Ri1) transmission to the first superstructure (3a), formed by the superposition and comprising shaping drum (2) and the first tire component (C1) superposed onto the shaping drum (2). Detection of at least the first corresponding reflected radiation (Rr1). Determination of the first parameter (P1), characterizing the first component (C1) first main length (L1), depending on the first reflected radiation (Rr1). Comparison of the first parameter (P1) with one or more previously stored in memory control values. First correction signal (S1) generation depending on the comparison. First correction signal (S1) transmission to the preparation station configured to prepare the first component (C1) for the subsequent components preparation adjustment.

EFFECT: increase in the components ends positioning accuracy.
