FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to explosion suppression and/or explosion-proof compositions of ammonium nitrate fertilizers. Fertilizer composition contains material of ammonium nitrate and material of stabilizer – hydromagnesite to obtain as a result of specific impulse not more than 13.5 kPa⋅ms/kg when measured in accordance with shock wave propagation analysis. Stabilizer material makes 5–25 wt% of fertilizer composition. Fertilizer may further contain filler selected from bauxite slurry, refractory clay, red mud and combinations thereof.
EFFECT: increase in the blast suppressant and desensitizing properties of the fertilizer is achieved by addition of stabilizers, which prevents the possibility of its use in explosives.
