SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-natural protein with zinc fingers, modulating expression of thioesterase gene of fatty acids B (FatB), where protein with zinc fingers contains six domains of zinc fingers in order from F1 to F6, wherein each zinc finger domain comprises a recognizing spiral area, and wherein the protein with zinc fingers comprises areas of recognition spirals. Invention also relates to a fused protein for modulating FatB gene expression, wherein the fused protein contains a zinc finger protein and a transcription regulation domain or a cleavage domain.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce plants and vegetal products with reduced content of unsaturated fatty acids.
