Method of controlling an agricultural vehicle comprises receiving, by a processor from a user interface, a first signal indicating a value of at least one band occupancy parameter, determining, by a processor, a trajectory of an agricultural vehicle towards a guide strip, at least in part based on at least one strip occupancy parameter. Determination of trajectory of agricultural vehicle includes simulation of movement of agricultural vehicle using direction algorithm. Processor outputs, on the user interface display, a second signal indicating commands for providing a graphic display of the trajectory of the agricultural vehicle. Controlling an agricultural vehicle processor based at least in part on at least one band occupancy parameter after receiving from the user interface at least a third signal indicating reception of the value of at least one band occupancy parameter. Agricultural vehicle control includes agricultural vehicle control using direction algorithm. Agricultural vehicle control system comprises a user interface comprising a display. User interface is configured to supply a first signal indicating a value of at least one band occupancy parameter. Controller connected to possibility of data transfer with user interface, made with possibility to determine trajectory of agricultural vehicle towards guide strip at least partially on the basis of at least one parameter of occupancy of strip. Controller is configured to determine the trajectory of an agricultural vehicle by simulating the movement of an agricultural vehicle using a direction algorithm. Controller is configured to display a second signal indicating commands to display a graphical display of the path and with possibility to control agricultural vehicle at least partially based on at least one strip occupancy parameter after receiving from user interface of at least a third signal indicating reception of at least one band occupancy parameter value, as well as with possibility to control agricultural vehicle using direction algorithm.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of the guide strip occupancy process.
