SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine. Method for in-vitro collection of eggs from females of Trichocephalus ovis, which causes a trichuriasis of domestic and wild ruminants, involves that of colon material of spontaneously infected animals when observing helminthological methods on exposing animals after preliminary washing in isotonic solution of 0.9 % sodium chloride, 250 and more live mature females Trichocephalus ovis are sampled. Five females are placed in separate bacteriological dishes with normal Tyrode solution. Exposure at t=25 °C for 3 hours under conditions of a thermostat to obtain pure collection of mature Trichocephalus ovis eggs.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain high-quality material for analysis.
