FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric traction vehicles and is intended for diagnostics of contact network state. Device for measuring parameters of contact wire comprises a line of lasers and two lines and video cameras installed with possibility of detecting reflected from contact wire laser radiation. Rulers are arranged under contact wire and arranged parallel to each other across length of contact wire. Device also includes a laser power supply unit connected to lasers, and a control, recording and processing unit connected to the unit and video cameras.

EFFECT: technical result is device simplification, improvement of its reliability and expansion of functional capabilities with provision of high measurement accuracy.
