METHOD OF TREATING CRICOPHARYNGEAL INSUFFICIENCY AND RECUPERATION OF SWALLOWING FUNCTION Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61N2/00 A61N2/08

Abstract RU 2714177 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology, physiotherapy, and can be used in treating cricopharyngeal dysfunction and recovering swallowing function. That is ensured by exposure to a bipolar high-intensity magnetic field by short-term magnetic pulses with the help of a magnetic stimulator. Magnetic inductor is fixed on neck skin, in front, in hyoid bone projection, installed under visual control. Therapeutic exposure is performed daily in Coil Type mode: IDU – 02 – 100 – O, intensity 35 %, frequency 10 Hz, packet volume 40 pulses, number of packets 40 per 1 procedure, pause between packets 6 seconds, exposure time 6.5 minutes. Therapeutic procedure is followed by video endoscopic navigation. Duration of the therapeutic course is 10 days.

EFFECT: method provides the effective treatment of the given pathology by direct exposure of the muscles, nerve tissue of the cricopharyngeal area due to video endoscopic navigation.
