FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of metal powder. Raw materials are fed into melting furnace, melted by means of heat source, at least part of melted material is passed into spraying hearth and heated by means of second heat source. Molten material from the spraying hearth is passed into the spray nozzle through a cold induction guide located upstream of the spray nozzle, which doses the flow of molten material from the spraying hearth. Spraying drops of fused material are formed by spraying nozzle, at least part of which solidifies to form metal powder material. Cold induction guide comprises a melt container area, to which one or more first electrically conductive coils are connected, and a passage containing walls with liquid cooling, communicating with the area of the melt container and directly communicating with the spray nozzle.

EFFECT: improved purity of the obtained powder, as well as possibility of obtaining powder with given chemical composition.
