FIELD: defectoscopy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of nondestructive testing. Magnetizing device flaw detector comprises two identical magnets facing each other with like poles, wherein between the magnets there is a magnetic conductor in the form of a disc with the possibility of rolling along the scanned surface of the monitored article, magnetic conductor diameter exceeds vertical size of magnets, coaxially with two magnets and disc magnetic conductor on opposite sides of magnets there installed are side magnetic conductors enveloping controlled article on sides with possibility of movement along these sides with preset gap between them, all magnetic conductors are made of magnetically soft material.
EFFECT: high reliability of detecting defects in articles using a magnetic method, high safety of operating the device in production conditions.
