FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics with restoration of integrity of rupture of supraspinatus tendon. Using pre-taken, own tendon of long fibular muscle. Arthroscopic approach to the shoulder joint is performed. Autograft is passed through the soft tissues of the torn end of the rotary cuff so that the central portion of the autograft passes under the rotator cuff, the two ends being brought out onto the upper part of the rotator cuff. Then, the grafted ends of the autograft are stretched and fixed in the area of a greater tuberosity of humerus by means of two anchor fixators.

EFFECT: method provides creating the retracted tendon fixation conditions by using the long fibular muscle autosuggestion for the rotator cuff defect augmentation, high strength of fixation, creating conditions for adaptation of the autograft, as well as reducing the number of repeated ruptures and postoperative complications.
