FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to a method of treating squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity and pharynx, involving a radiation therapy. From 1st to 35th day, a radiation therapy with a single focal dose of 2 Gy is performed daily for 5-day work week to a total focal dose of 50 Gy per a locoregional region, including regional lymphocytes CTV2/PTV2. Every day for following 3 days, additional GTV/CTV1/PTV1 tumor exposure is performed with a single focal dose of 6 Gy to a total focal dose of 68 Gy.
EFFECT: technical result consists in higher clinical effectiveness ensured by a greater degree of primary tumor regression and suppression of subclinical disseminated metastases.
