FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of producing oxygen-containing organic compounds C1-C4 by gas-phase oxidation of n-butane-containing fraction with oxygen and/or oxygen-containing gas at high pressure. Oxidation is carried out at temperature of 180–300 °C. N-butane-containing fraction contains 0.5 to 12.1 mol. % of isobutane, 0 to 1.4 mol. % of propane, 0.3 to 2.1 mol. % of butylene and 0.2 to 4.1 mol. % of pentanes.
EFFECT: method increases selectivity of formation of aldehydes, ketones, alcohols and esters containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
