FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of oxygen-containing organic compounds C1-C4, such as acetic acid, methyl ethyl ketone, and others. The method consists in liquid-phase oxidation of n-butane or n-butane fraction with oxygen or oxygen-containing gas in a flow reactor at pressure of 50-100 atm and a temperature of 160-190°C in a solution of products formed during oxidation. At the same time, oxidation is carried out at a total concentration of cations of transition metals Mn, Fe, Ni, Co, Cr, Mo, Ti, and Zr in a liquid phase of no more than 50 mkg/ml.
EFFECT: increase in the stability of a process of oxidation of butane/n-butane fraction with high performance by partial oxidation products, first of all by acetic acid and a high marginal product – methyl ethyl ketone.
