FIELD: chemical industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for producing aliphatic carbonyl compounds, more specifically, a method for producing ketones and aldehydes containing from 2 to 4 carbon atoms (C2-C4) from mixtures of aliphatic C2-C4 olefins. Method for producing methyl ethyl ketone and a plant for its implementation. The method consists in oxidizing the butane-butylene mixture with nitrous oxide, followed by fractionation and oxidation of the separated fraction with atmospheric oxygen and further isolation of methyl ethyl ketone and other products. At the same time, a copper-containing catalyst is introduced into the fraction containing methyl ethyl ketone supplied to the oxidation with air oxygen, and the catalyst, crushed to a powder, is added to the recirculation from the acid separation column, the end product separation unit, which includes at least columns for the separation of methyl ethyl ketone, aldehydes, acids. Oxidation gases are discharged with air oxygen into the absorber, where a mixture of acids is supplied for irrigation from the target product separation unit, and the resulting composition is returned from the lower part of the absorber for fractionation before oxidation with air oxygen.
EFFECT: reduction in catalyst consumption and increase in the quality of the resulting product.
