METHOD OF TRAINING FOR OPERATION ON LATHE-SCREW CUTTING MACHINE Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC G09B19/00

Abstract RU 2716541 C1

FIELD: education.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials processing technologies and is intended for training specialists at various screw-cutting lathes. Technical result is achieved by the fact that training of a student is carried out using a software and hardware system (SHS), which includes a computer, an audio system, video cameras and devices which form augmented reality, presented to student in the form of supplemented images of flat and three-dimensional figures or prohibited light zones in specified volume of working space. Peculiarity is that the SHS contains a given number of video cameras which are fixed on the pupil's head and/or at a specified height above the machine. Image from the video cameras is transmitted to the SHS computer for program processing and/or to the monitor of the instructor in order to control the pupil's actions and the machine operation in real time. Computer is connected to video cameras and augmented reality apparatus via a radio link or through wire communication. From the SHS program library, the instructors are given a program of the selected stage of training, which projects on the students' augmented reality means flat or volumetric images of the intermediate or final drawing of the manufactured part or the required operation at the moment of the type of the cutter or image of the auxiliary tool. SHS displays hazardous areas for its body parts, fixes foreign objects in specified volume of working zone of machine and supplies warning light and/or sound signals and/or blocks operation of machine. SHS or training unit fixes cutting conditions of processed material and if necessary comments process of material processing with sound or light tips. Invention makes it possible to create conditions that have pedagogical and methodic advantage in comparison with known methods of training specialists of machining of structural materials. Separately it is necessary to allocate rationality of application of agents of the added reality at remote training and control. Training is as variable as possible, it is inscribed into process of performance of specific labor tasks, has effect of presence of teacher, which contributes to considerable improvement of efficiency of turner training. Thus, the proposed method of teaching the lathe-screw-cutting machine has new properties that make it possible to obtain a positive effect.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of training work on machine by application of augmented reality.
