METHOD FOR SWIMMING TRAINING Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A63B69/00 A63B33/00 A61H33/00

Abstract RU 2757528 C1

FIELD: sports.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sports, namely to recreational, sports, adaptive and applied swimming with deep diving with breath retention; it can be used for the training of sports reserves, as well as for the functional training of professionals of the EMERCOM and special units of the army and Navy. Swimming training is carried out using a software and hardware complex (hereinafter – SHC), which includes a computer, monitoring video cameras and devices that form augmented reality presented to a trainee in the form of augmented images of flat or three-dimensional figures or forbidden light zones in a given volume of his field of action. The computer is connected to video cameras and augmented reality devices via a radio channel or by means of a wired connection, and a program of the selected training stage is set from the SHC program library. A special feature is that the SHC contains augmented reality devices that are waterproof to a given depth, fixed on the trainee’s head; a set number of video cameras that are fixed on the diver’s head, and/or in a given place on his body, or on his inventory, or above water, and/or in the water, where training takes place. An image from video cameras is transmitted to the SHC computer for software processing and/or to a monitor of the trainee to control actions of the trainee in real time and/or for a detailed analysis of actions after the task is completed. On augmented reality devices of the trainee, data of the depth of his immersion, the time of holding his breath, water temperature, as well as flat or three-dimensional images of stationary and/or mobile objects located at a given depth and/or at the bottom of a reservoir are projected at a given time. The SHC shows the trainee his body position relatively to the bottom or surface of the water and his actions in real time, gives or does not give conditional light signals. According to a given program, the SHC artificially changes the depth of vision, turbidity of the water for a given time, regulates the complexity of performing specified actions and the stressful situation of the diver. The SHC and/or the trainer records the accuracy of trainee’s actions, the schedule and modes of the task for comparing indicators of multi-time training or tests. According to the results of multi-time indicators, the functional state and dynamics of the swimmer’s fitness are evaluated.

EFFECT: method provides an increase in the effectiveness of swimming training.
