FIELD: military science.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military science and is intended to provide protection of weapons, military equipment and other objects from damage with artillery shells, including armour-piercing, for example, sub-calibre and cumulative ammunition. Armour barrier consists of different layers of material with different properties. In separate layers of armour there used are substances with high heat of fusion of one mole of this substance and low value of weight of one mole of this substance, as well as layers with high density of material of substance.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of armour as much as possible resistant to action of kinematic projectiles.
