FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method of treating a mammal suffering a disease associated with CD19 expression, comprising administering to a mammal an effective amount of a population of immune effector cells expressing a CAR molecule which binds to CD19, (CAR19-expressing cells), in combination with a Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, wherein the CAR molecule comprises a CD19 binding domain, a transmembrane domain and an intracellular signal domain, wherein the intracellular signal domain contains a costimulatory domain and a primary signal domain.
EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of diseases associated with CD19 expression.
