FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in systems of exhaust gases of internal combustion engines. System for detecting solid particles in exhaust system comprises tube (202) located in engine exhaust channel, solid particles sensor (214) located in tube (202), flow guide plate (216) located in tube (202) parallel to vertical axis of tube, and expansion (208) of semi-cylindrical shape. Plate (216) has protrusions. Surfaces of ledges define inner channel downstream of solid particles sensor (214). Surfaces of ledges direct the flow to solid particles sensor (214). Expansion (208) is located on downstream half of tube (202). Expansion (208) comprises rectangular inlet (204) and drain hole (206). Rectangular inlet (204) is located on upstream expansion surface and is aligned with vertical axis of solid particles sensor (214). Drain hole (206) is made in downstream surface of expansion (208) directly opposite inlet (204). Protrusions have a concave shape and protrude from solid particles sensor (214). Disclosed is a method for detecting solid particles in a system of exhaust gases and a version of a system for detecting solid particles in an exhaust system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring more uniform distribution of flow on surface of sensor of content of solid particles.
