FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of internal combustion engine, in particular, to correction of fuel injector transfer function. Method and system for correction of pre-fuel (pilot) pulse duration pulses are proposed. In accordance with one of the versions, the amount of fuel introduced during the pre-injection is changed in order to set adjustments of the fuel injector transfer function and spark plug is activated in response to fuel injector transfer function correction request, due to which improvement of correction becomes possible.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure correction of fuel injector transfer functions, which will improve exhaust toxicity and combustion stability due to more accurate fuel supply to engine, reduce engine emissions and noise level.
