SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of video signal decoding. Disclosed is a video signal decoding method, comprising: obtaining from a video signal an index of a reference image for a current block, wherein the reference image index sets the combined image for the current block; obtaining possible temporal displacement vector from combined unit for current block, wherein the combined unit is included in the combined image given by the reference image index obtained from the video signal; generating a list of possible displacement vectors comprising several possible displacement vectors, wherein several possible displacement vectors include a possible temporal displacement vector; determining motion vector predictor for current block based on list of possible displacement vectors and possible index, wherein possible index specifies one of several possible displacement vectors contained in list of possible displacement vectors; and obtaining prediction samples of current unit based on motion vector predictor.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of converting and compressing video information.
