SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of video signal decoding. Disclosed is a method of decoding a video signal, comprising: obtaining from a video signal an index of a reference image for the current block, wherein the reference image index sets the combined image for the current block; obtaining a possible temporal displacement vector from the combined block for the current block, wherein the combined block is included in the combined image given by the reference image index obtained from the video signal; generating a list of possible displacement vectors comprising several possible displacement vectors; determining motion vector predictor for current block based on list of possible displacement vectors and possible index, wherein possible index specifies one of several possible displacement vectors contained in list of possible displacement vectors; obtaining prediction samples of the current block based on the displacement vector predictor and restoring the current block using the prediction samples.
EFFECT: technical result is high efficiency of converting and compressing video information.
