FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to oncology, and aims at predicting the risk of recurrence in HPV16-positive patients with severe squamous intraepithelial involvement. DNA is extracted from biological material of epithelial scrapings of cervical canal and external part of cervical uteri. Real-time PCR is performed. Presence and typing of human papilloma virus (HPV) is determined. Physical status of type 16 HPV is analyzed. If observing an episomal form of type 16 HPV, a favorable outcome of the disease is predicted. If the integrated form is present, a recurrence of the disease is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and information value of a method for prediction of risk of recurrent cervical intraepithelial neoplasia of severe degree in HPV16-positive patients.
