FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of environmental studies and a method of underwater spectral analysis of sea water and bottom rocks. Method includes generation of pulsed infrared laser radiation, delivery of radiation using an optical system into a focused laser radiation guidance device into sea water or bottom rock, recording emission spectra of a laser plasma, their mathematical processing and sending to operator by means of registration device. Method comprises additionally measuring biooptical parameters of aqueous medium and detecting traces of oil products and gas hydrates in hard-to-reach underwater areas due to installed in measuring complex of single-frequency continuous laser radiation source of optical or ultraviolet range of wavelengths. Guidance device is used in form of sealed multi-degree anthropomorphic manipulator-gripper with integrated optical system for output of laser radiation and receiving optical system.

EFFECT: technical result consists in broader functional capabilities, high sensitivity and enabling analysis of hard-to-access objects.
