FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Presented is a method for endoscopic ultrasonography in peripheral lung cancer and monitoring the position of the endoscopic instrument in a pathological focus by using a cap to be placed on the distal end of the bronchoscope. Thereafter, conductor bar is fitted in cap longitudinal groove. Tube-conductor is fixed in the circular grooves of the cap using the suture material. After the bronchoscope is introduced into the lung segment containing the new growth, an ultrasonic probe is inserted through the bronchoscope canal into the projection of the new growth, and through the conductor bar - an endoscopic instrument in the form of biopsy tongs, configured to monitor the position and opening of the biopsy tongs in the pathological focus.

EFFECT: use of the given method will allow improving the quality of the obtained material with ultrasonic bronchoscopy.
