FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a surgical instrument for endoscopic surgery. Surgical instrument for endoscopic surgery comprises an actuator, an extension tube and a controller. Proximal end of the extension tube is connected to the controller. Far end of the extension tube is connected to the actuator. Actuator is configured to rotate relative to distal end of extension pipe. Controller includes a bend control mechanism configured to move in at least one direction. Extension tube includes a first flexible element designed to move in at least one direction by movement of the bend control mechanism. First flexible element is additionally designed so that to enable rotation of the actuator in at least one side relative to the distal end of the extension pipe. Distal end of the extension tube is connected to the actuator by means of one or more hinges.
EFFECT: invention is characterized by that actuator is configured to bend at a wider angle to be adapted to medical treatment in more complex clinical settings.
