FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a polymer granule for conducting a plurality of combined analysis reactions, comprising: a hydrogel polymer precursor; cross-linking agent; and a biomolecule within the polymer granule, wherein the granule is a porous hollow granule, wherein the granule comprises a plurality of polymer layers, wherein each layer is characterized by a certain pore size and pore density, providing diffusion of the reagent through the granule, which retains the biomolecule, also relates to a method for conducting a plurality of successive joint analyses of a biomolecule encapsulated inside a polymer granule, involving: obtaining a polymer granule encapsulating a biomolecule; and sequential bringing a single cell into contact with reagents for multiple sequential combined assays.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a polymer granule for fast and effective treatment by reducing the loss of biomolecules by retaining them inside the granule, while providing diffusion of one or more reagents through the granule.
