SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. System and method for synthesis sequencing (SBS) are proposed. System includes installation for detection with located in chamber of arrays of magnetically sensitive sensors for detection of magnetic particles in specified sections, multiple nanopores, a reading circuit for transmitting signals after each embedding event and a jet control system for passing reagents through the chamber to perform the SBS protocol, where the reagents include a set of types of nucleotides. Method includes growth of a complementary chain by nucleotide incorporation, where nucleotides are attached to corresponding magnetic particles, determination of electrical resistance variations in the area of sensors and determination of genetic characteristics of complementary chains based on detected changes in electrical resistance. Changes are caused by magnetic properties of magnetic particles as a result of addition of nucleotides to a complementary chain, where nucleotides include a set of types of nucleotides, each of which has different number of magnetic particles.

EFFECT: group of inventions ensures absence of background magnetic signals generated by biological samples, negative effect on magnetic transmission mechanism and contaminants.
