FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to devices for grinding of tubers on cattle-breeding farms and complexes. Device for grinding of root crops comprises housing (1) with loading neck, inside housing on shaft (2) in bearing supports there is drum (3) with four U-shaped slots located under 90° in relation to each other throughout its length, and in grooves of drum there are L-shaped blades (4), each of which is fixed in them by means of replaceable clamping device (5) and three thrust bolts (6). Body of device consists of two parts, lower is rigidly fixed on frame, and upper one is made as folding, at that one side is connected to lower part by means of hinged joint (8), and other is fixed by means of three flap hinge bolts. In upper part of housing there is shearing element (7).

EFFECT: proposed device for grinding of root crops provides for regulation of degree of grinding, simplified design, increased reliability, productivity and quality of grinding.
