SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ultrasonic diagnostics, and can be used for examination of shin vessels with anatomical version of the structure with predominance of fibular vessels. Performing ultrasonic duplex angioscanning. First, the examination is performed in the position of the patient lying on his / her back with a knee bent and retracted to the outside. Linear sensor is placed in the area of the medial malleolus. It is followed upwards along the medial surface of the shin to the level of disappearance of vessels in B-mode and absence of blood flow on them in the mode of color Doppler mapping. Convex transducer is then used in color Doppler mapping mode, which is placed at an acute angle to the projection line of the posterior tibial vascular bundle, after which the patient is turned over on the abdomen, and the convex transducer is placed along the projection line between two points, the first of which is located 5–7 cm upwards from the lateral malleolus, and the second one is located at the level of the medial malleolus.

EFFECT: method provides the blood flow condition determination in the shin vessel structure variant with the fibular vascular bundle predomination due to the ultrasonic examination technique.
