FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions to a method of programming graphic indicators of a glucometer in a system for measuring glycemia. Connection is established between the meter and the computer device. Diabetic application is started in a computer device. Target range is introduced in a diabetic application and transferred into a glucometer. Target meter range and ranges above and below the target for each indicator are calculated by the meter, by dividing the range by the number of indicators of the corresponding range. Blood pressure meter is stored in a nonvolatile memory for each of the indicators a target range and ranges above and below the target range. Test strip is inserted into the port for the test strips of the portable glucometer and a blood sample is applied on the test strip. Measured glucose is calculated by blood glucose meter. Digital indication of the measured blood glucose is displayed on the blood glucose meter display and graphical display of the measured glycemia by means of one indicator from the group of indicators calibrating the color scale of glycemia. Glycemia measurement system comprises a glucometer housing with a test strip port, a processor with a storage device, a measuring module, a communication port, a module for scaling indicators and a display containing a glycemic color scale and a monochrome segmented screen. System also includes a computer device with a user interface and a display with a field for inputting the target range. Color scale is immovably located on the meter body and includes three color areas for designating user ranges. Monochrome screen comprises digital elements for numerical display of measurement results and group of indicators located next to corresponding color area.
EFFECT: provided is a graphical display of a meter with a user interface displaying glucose measurement results and programmable according to a personal target range of the user, which facilitates perception and interpretation of measurement results by users with any individual target ranges of glycemia.
