FIELD: three-dimensional printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to three-dimensional printing for creation of various prototypes in the form of three-dimensional (3D) objects. Two versions of the three-dimensional printing method using a color-changing material are described. Method comprises providing a color-changing material dispersed in a polymer component, extruding said material to produce fiber, feeding it into the heated nozzle and depositing on the substrate with formation of a three-dimensional object on the substrate. Color-changing pigment has a structure consisting of a core and a shell. Core contains silicon oxide, the shell contains a metal oxide. In one version, polymer component contains wood composite "laywood", in other version—from polymer group in amount of 50–99 wt %.
EFFECT: invention provides 3D objects with a wide range of color effects by changing color when viewing at different angles.
