FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine technology. Engine combines elements of internal combustion engines and external combustion. Expansion of gases takes place due to combustion energy of fuel-air mixture, as well as due to recovery of heat energy of exhaust gases, thereby reducing fuel consumption. Essence of inventions consists in that two-stroke internal combustion engine comprises working and compressor cylinders, connecting channel between cylinders, external combustion chamber and regenerator. According to the invention, the external combustion chamber and outlet part of the connecting channel are located in the regenerator. External combustion chamber is located in the middle of the connecting channel, dividing it into the inlet and outlet parts, the connecting channel is connected by the inlet part with the compressor cylinder, and by the outlet part – with the working cylinder. Connecting channel has internal screw grooves to provide gas swirling.
EFFECT: increase of power and improvement of ecological parameters of two-stroke engine due to arrangement of intensive mixture formation and increase of combustion duration.
