FIELD: glass.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a form for gravity bending of glass sheets and to a method of gravitational bending implemented with its use. Invention comprises method and device for bending of glass sheets, gravity bending mould and its application. Method of bending glass sheets involves heating, gravitational bending and cooling of the glass sheet. Moulded glass sheets are intended for installation in vehicles. Device for bending glass sheets comprises a form for gravity bending. Form for gravity bending of glass sheets comprises support surface in form of frame, suitable for placement of glass sheet on it. Support surface has outer and inner edges. Support surface comprises outer zone facing outer edge, inner zone to inner edge, central zone between outer and inner zones. Outer zone is flat and horizontal. Central zone is flat and curved and inclined to inner edge. Inner zone has curvature in direction opposite to glass sheet curvature. Inner zone is bent more strongly than central zone.

EFFECT: due to improved form of gravity bending quality of glass sheet is improved, marks are removed from mould in process of manufacturing.
