SUBSTANCE: invention area of engineering of proposed method is engine building, in particular, development of method of application of alcohol fuel - methanol, ethanol for internal combustion engines (ICE) with spark ignition. Disclosed is fuel supply device for ICE with spark ignition, in which fuel tank is filled with liquefied methyl and/or ethyl alcohol, which is supplied via fuel flow through filter to flow-through electric fuel pump 7, operating from ICE standard electric generator 9 with possibility of fuel supply rate adjustment, after fuel pump 7 flow-through electric fuel heater 6 is installed, also operating from standard electric generator, At outlet of which fuel of specified temperature is supplied to injectors 5 through fuel ramp 4, which provides obtaining steam-air mixture of working temperature at fuel injection through nozzles into air ducts of inlet air manifold 3 of ICE. At the outlet of each air duct of the inlet air manifold, in front of the corresponding ignition chamber of the corresponding ICE cylinder 2, there is a system of spark ignition. Also disclosed is ICE with spark ignition operation method.

EFFECT: invention allows improving economic parameters of the engine, as well as ensuring operation of the engine on alcohol fuel.
