FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology, namely to production of a cytological preparation. Method involves preserving the sample with any preserving liquid suitable for liquid cytology. Then it is centrifuged together with preserving liquid for 3–6 minutes at 1500 rpm and sediment is separated. Concurrently, thrombosis is prepared by mixing it gently and heating to temperature 36–37 °C. Thrombi mass is then added to vessel with sediment at ratio of 1:1, the obtained clot is held at room temperature for 5–10 minutes and, after retraction, centrifuged for 3–6 minutes at 1500 rpm. Supernatant is then removed, 10 % buffered neutral formalin is added at a ratio of precipitate to formalin 1:10 and centrifuged for 3 minutes at 1500 rpm. Further, the clot is extracted and routed, after which sections are made, applied on slides, dewaxed and coloured. Preparation is then encapsulated in epoxy resin and analysed and/or archived.

EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of long-term storage of the obtained material and compliance of morphological picture on sections with real conditions of cell life in tissue.
