SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Described is the use of an effective amount of a composition of rLP2086 N. meningitidis and three additional immunogenic compositions together for inducing a bactericidal immune response against a strain of subfamily A N. meningitidis serogroup B and against a strain of subfamily B N. meningitidis serogroup B in a human. Said rLP2086 N. meningitidis composition contains a) a first lipidated polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence presented by SEQ ID NO: 1, and b) a second lipid polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence presented by SEQ ID NO: 2. As an additional immunogenic composition, (i) an immunogenic composition for the strain of Neisseria meningitidis serogroup A, Neisseria meningitidis strain of serogroup C, Neisseria meningitidis strain of serum group Y and/or Neisseria meningitidis strain of serogroup W135; (ii) an immunogenic composition for diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis; and (iii) an immunogenic composition for human papilloma virus.
EFFECT: invention extends the range of methods for inducing a bactericidal immune response against the serogroup B subfamily A N. meningitidis strain and against the serous B group N. meningitidis subfamily B strain.
