SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to an isolated polypeptide for inducing an immune response against Neisseria meningitides in a mammal and using it. Recovered polypeptide consists of the amino acid sequence presented in SEQ ID NO: 76. Said polypeptide is used in a method for inducing an immune response to Neisseria meningitidis in a mammal, method for inducing development of a bacterial antibody against Neisseria meningitidis in a mammal, as well as in an immunogenic composition for inducing an immune reaction against Neisseria meningitides in a mammal. Also disclosed is an isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding said recovered polypeptide.
EFFECT: declared inventions provide wide protection, measured by SBA against a number of isolates of Neisseria meningitidis.
