SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to gynaecology and reproductology, and can be used to predict embryos of excellent quality in women in extracorporal fertilization programs. Patient’s venous blood is sampled, and Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) is measured. In addition, history data are collected on the presence or absence of obesity, contraindications to IVF and the patient's age. If a woman is aged 26 to 35 years old, has no contraindications to IVF treatment, the AMH level makes 3 to 22 ng/ml and the patient does not suffer from obesity, a higher probability of obtaining embryos of excellent quality is predicted. If the AMH level is less than 2 ng/ml, and the patient suffers obesity, a low probability of obtaining excellent-quality embryos is predicted.

EFFECT: method provides an opportunity to increase the prognostic accuracy of obtaining embryos of excellent quality in women in IVF programs by determining the AMH level in the patient's blood and collecting medical history data: presence of obesity, contraindications to IVF and the patient's age.
