SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology, particularly to a method of producing nanocapsules, and describes a method of producing nanocapsules of a dry extract of birch leaves in a kappa-carrageenan shell. Method is characterized by that dry extract of birch leaves is added to a suspension of kappa-carrageenan in isopropanol in presence of 0.01 g of glycerol ester with one or two molecules of food fatty acids and one or two molecules of citric acid as a surfactant while stirring 700 rpm, then hexafluorobenzene is added, obtained suspension of nanocapsules is filtered and dried at room temperature, wherein weight ratio of core : shell is 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3.
EFFECT: method ensures the nanocapsules producing process simplification and acceleration, reduction in losses during the nanocapsules production, and can be used in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
