FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for separate implantation of an intraocular lens and an artificial iris. That is ensured by performing paracenteses at 2 and 9 o’clock. Mesatone, lidocaine, adhesive viscoelastic are introduced into the anterior chamber. Main corneal incision of 2 mm at 11 o'clock, a continuous circular capsulorhexis with diameter of 6 mm, hydrodissection, hydrodelenation and rotation of the nucleus of the lens, cataract phacoemulsification with subsequent removal of cortical layers. Cohesive viscoelastic is introduced. Artificial iris is folded in two folds with the help of tweezers into cartridge D. Injector is used to implant the artificial iris into the lumen of the capsular sac without enlarging the main incision, sequentially tucking the hook for rotation under the edge of the anterior capsulorhexis. Additionally, cohesive viscoelastic is introduced. Intraocular lens is implanted through a pupil of an artificial iris into a capsular sac through a cartridge D using a “monarch 3” injection system. Intraocular lens is then centred. Viscoelastic is removed by aspiration and irrigation. Depth of anterior chamber is filled with BSS solution. Operation is completed by sealing the surgical approach without a suture.

EFFECT: invention reduces the risk of possible ruptures of the capsular sac and ensures high visual functions.
