SUBSTANCE: invention represents a method for selection of cows for milking on a robotic installation, including two-stage selective selection of cows of the first lactation according to optimal requirements of technology of machine milking to morphological parameters and by functional properties of udder, is achieved due to that sampling criterion used is the number of voluntary cow visits of a robotic apparatus with elimination from a group of those animals whose index is less than the average one by 1 sigma ( – 1σ), where is attribute average value, σ is the mean-square deviation.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of selection of cows suitable for technology of robotic milking.
