FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to clinical medicine, namely to surgery and anaesthesiology-resuscitation, and can be used for prediction of development of systemic inflammatory reaction syndrome. Method for prediction of intensity of systemic inflammatory reaction in urgent abdominal diseases consists in taking and analyzing venous blood in patient, determining plasma toxicity index, content of TBA-reacting products, activity of phospholipase A2, based on the obtained data calculating intensity index of systemic inflammatory reaction by formula (SIRII), with SIRII value less than 0.84 indicates no probability of progressing intensity of the systemic inflammatory reaction, value SIRII from 0.85 to 1.39 shows low degree of probability of progressing intensity of systemic inflammatory reaction, SIRII value of 1.40 and more high degree of probability of progressing intensity of the systemic inflammatory reaction.

EFFECT: invention provides higher accuracy and adequacy of assessment of degree of intensity of systemic inflammatory reaction in patients with urgent abdominal pathology at the moment.
