FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to surgery, and can be used for prediction of endogenous intoxication in patients with acute peritonitis. Method is implemented as follows: starting from the first day after the surgical management the content of average weight and malondialdehyde molecules is determined in dynamics to calculate an index for prediction of endogenous intoxication by specific formula. If the index for prediction of endogenous intoxication is lower than 0.95, positive dynamics of endogenous intoxication is identified, when the value ranges from 0.95 to 1.34 - low degree of probability of endogenous intoxication progression is identified, if the value equals to 1.35 or higher - high degree of progression of endogenous intoxication is determined.
EFFECT: invention enables the accurate and adequate evaluate the probability of progression of endogenous intoxication by determining the index for prediction of endogenous intoxication patients with acute peritonitis, which makes it possible to judge on pattern (progression or reduction) of the clinical course of endogenous intoxication and assess performance efficiency of surgical management, as well as effect of detoxication and efferent therapy.
