SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an electric heating device (10) for use in a water tank, comprising metal fastener (20) for attaching an electric heating device (10) to a water container, heating element (26) with an electric drive, anode (12) for cathodic protection against corrosion and adjustable resistor (46), wherein heating element (26) is in electrical contact with fastening element (20) and / or water container by means of adjustable resistor (46), and heating element (26) and anode (12) are located physically close to each other on fastening element (20).
EFFECT: electric heating device is very compact and provides the possibility of effective protection of water reservoir against corrosion.
