FIELD: medicine; ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and ecology, and can be used for assessing developmental prediction in children suffering allergic rhinitis accompanying comorbid pathology. That is ensured by determining the content of chemical compounds in the blood sample: manganese, vanadium, formaldehyde, and content of suspended particles is determined in the atmosphere of the territory where the children live. If content of manganese, vanadium and formaldehyde in blood in comparison with reference quantity is not less than 1.5 times and presence of suspended particles content in atmospheric air of territory, where children live, not less than 1.1 maximum allowable concentration, laboratory and functional indices are determined. Laboratory factors are glutathione-S-transferase in blood, and functional ratios are determined by the ratio of the stress index in the wedge-orthostatic test to the initial stress index (IN2/IN1) and the total velocity of the nasal flow on both sides (TVF). By reducing the levels of glutathione-S-transferase in the blood of less than 99 ng/ml, raising the level indicator IN2/IN1 above 3.3 cu, reducing TVF index below 450 cm3/s, assessing the comorbid pathology accompanying allergic rhinitis development prediction in the form of a vegetative nervous system disorder associated with the negative aerogenic effect of suspended substances, metals and formaldehyde as high.
EFFECT: use of said method enables to evaluate the effect of multi-component contamination of atmospheric air with suspended substances, metals and formaldehyde on the territory, where children suffering from allergic rhinitis live, accompanying comorbid pathology in the form of vegetative nervous system disorders, which enables to detect a contingent of such children, in relation to which an additional specialized therapeutic and preventive program is required.
