SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples intended for use with them. Staple cartridge assembly for use with a surgical suturing instrument comprises a cartridge body, a staple and a trigger element. Cartridge body comprises a proximal end, a distal end, a platform and a staple cavity. Staple cavities are formed in the platform. Staples are adapted for extraction from the staple cavities. Firing element comprises guide channel combined with brackets. Guide channel is formed by the inclined surface of the trigger element, the first lateral side wall and the second lateral side wall. Braces are received between the first lateral wall and the second lateral side wall. Guide channel is configured to receive staples.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables tissue cross-linking.
