STAPLE CARTRIDGE ASSEMBLY COMPRISING VARIOUS GAPS FOR TISSUE COMPRESSION AND GAPS FOR FORMING STAPLES Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61B17/72

Abstract RU 2725747 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surgical stapling and cutting tools and cassettes with staples intended for use with them. Staple cartridge assembly for use with a surgical suturing instrument comprises a cassette body and a firing member. Cartridge body comprises a platform, a first longitudinal row of staple cavities, a second longitudinal row of staple cavities, first staples and second staples. Each first clamp is stored with possibility of staple cavities removal in the first longitudinal row. Each first bracket comprises an integral structure including the first metal base and the first leg of the bracket. Each second clamp is stored with possibility of removal in the second longitudinal row of staple cavities. Each second bracket comprises an integral structure including a second metal base and a second leg of the bracket. First brackets and the second brackets are made by punching from sheet metal. First staples and second staples have substantially flat surfaces. Firing element is made with possibility of direct interaction with first brackets and second staples. In the second version, the staple cartridge assembly for use with a surgical suturing instrument comprises a cassette body and a trigger element. Cartridge body comprises a platform, a first longitudinal row of staple cavities, a second longitudinal row of staple cavities, first staples and second staples. Each first bracket comprises an integral structure including the first metal base and the first leg of the bracket. First metal base includes a first metal ejection surface and a first tissue-supporting surface. Each second bracket comprises an integral structure including a second metal base and a second leg of the bracket. Second metal base includes second metal ejection surface and second fabric supporting surface. In the third version, the staple cartridge assembly for use with the surgical suturing instrument comprises a cassette body and a trigger element. Cartridge body comprises a platform, a first longitudinal row of staple cavities, a second longitudinal row of staple cavities, first staples and second staples. Each first bracket comprises an integral structure including the first metal base and the first leg of the bracket. Each second clamp comprises an integral structure including a second metal base and a second leg of the clamp. First metal base includes the first metal extrusion surface. Second metal base includes the second metal extrusion surface. Firing element is made with possibility of direct interaction with first brackets and second staples. First metal surface of the staple ejection of each of the first staples determines the first extrusion plane. First staple foot of each of the first staples determines the first leg plane. Second metal surface of staple ejection by each of second staples defines second extrusion plane. Second staple foot of each of the second staples defines a second leg plane. First ejection plane is shifted from the plane of the first leg, and the second ejection plane is offset from the plane of the second leg.

EFFECT: inventions are characterized by that the first brackets and the second brackets are made by sheet metal forming and have substantially flat surfaces, providing a suitable tip, made with possibility of tissue puncture and formation of an anvil in appropriate forming recess.
