FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is intended for use in complex treatment of patients with periodontosis. Oral cavity is injected into the transient fold of the oral vestibule at 0.5 atmospheres through a mini needle of the apparatus for carboxytherapy of medical carbon dioxide with volume of 7.0 ml with a gas temperature of 37 degrees. Needle is inserted into a transient fold through one tooth on the upper or lower jaw, and 6 injections are performed in one jaw every session; one therapeutic course of periodontosis is 10 sessions in one day for each jaw. During the year, 3 courses are recommended with moderate severity of periodontosis.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to saturate tissues of periodontium with oxygen, to improve microcirculation of blood and cellular metabolism, to achieve reduction of dystrophy of jaw bone tissue due to formation of type 1 collagen in these bones under action of carbon dioxide gas on tissues.
