FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for local treatment of periodontitis of various severity level. For one or two weeks, depending on the severity of the periodontitis, the colloidal nano-silver solution is applied in a concentration of up to 100 mg/l and the diameter of nanoparticles of 10–15 nm with holding in the oral cavity of tundra from 15 to 20 min in one session on the mucous membranes of the gum and periodontal pockets.
EFFECT: method provides higher effectiveness of complex treatment of periodontitis, fewer complications.
